Artistic Mission is a blog created in February 2007 by St. Louis area artist Dan Jaboor. It was begun as an effort to chronicle his artistic endeavors as he set out to begin showing his work publicly. His blog covers all aspects of his art; whether it be reflections on the local art scene, notices of upcoming shows and events, pictures of works in progress, or video interviews with other local artists.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Dan Jaboor began drawing shortly after birth. He has won awards in numerous local and national competitions for works in a variety of mediums. His artistic vision has been described as “innovative, yet with a surprising flair for the unexpected”. He is available for commissioned work as well as having pieces available locally. Additionally, Dan is the author of the blog "Artistic Mission" which is rated as one of the top 40 art related blogs in the world by Alltop.com.

There are several places to view and purchase Dan's artwork. He maintains a permanent exhibit at Soulard Art Market and Contemporary Art Gallery. He has selected artwork available for purchase at Modern Luxe (a home furnishing store in O'Fallon, Mo.
