Need Help With Flowers/Gardening

 

I am not a gardener. There are a couple of plants in my kitchen that I water but that's the extent of it. I really don't know a lot about it, don't really have the time/patience to learn. I do however, want something nice for my front and back porch. I already have big cement pots.

Any ideas on something simple to take of but that looks good? The instructions need to read like this: "Put soil in the pot. Put plant in the soil. The End."

Any tips would be appreciated.
