As a parent with a kid just starting to understand holidays (he's 2 and a half) you want to make each such day a little special. I really hoped for a white Christmas a couple of months ago, but, alas, it didn't happen. So how about a white Easter?
That's what we awoke to this morning, which made things a touch confusing. We had hidden little plastic eggs with M & M's inside all over the house last night. But when the little man got up, he wanted to watch the snow fall. Of course his attention span is as tiny as he is, so soon he was roaming around the house opening eggs, watching something spill out of them to the floor, then gorging himself with chocolate off the floor.
The next question is wardrobe for the family Easter gathering. Nothing "Springy" about this Easter Sunday! Next year we'll probably be pool-side at Christmas!
