Did you know that Busch stadium produces over 4,000,000 lbs of trash per year just from Cardinals home games?  But there's good news, the Cardinals recently launched a massive campaign to recycle that waste!

As the Cardinals Green Team sponsor, Stlouisgreen.com is showing their support and coordinating volunteers at 21 games throughout July and August in order to spread awareness of the recycling program.

In order for this program to continue we need your help! Here are the details:

1. Call or send Stlouisgreen.com an email listing the day(s) you'd like to help out as well as your phone number.

2. Volunteers should wear a white t-shirt and arrive at the stadium 30 minutes prior to game time.

3. Check in at the employee entrance near the Stadium metrolink station at the intersection of 8th and Spruce (entry is free for volunteers).

4. Volunteers will then be directed to the staff facilities to listen to a short introductory explanation and receive volunteer vests and supplies.

5. Your job will be to collect recyclables from fans between innings and inform fans about the cardinals recycling program

6. Plan to stay an extra 15 minutes after the game to wrap things up.

Also, consider signing up a group of friends from your school, business, or sports team! (It's a fun way for students to get community service hours) If you're planning on bringing other volunteers just let them know.
