Anyone Want to Try Hulu?

I should probably be more specific: Anyone want to try out Hulu.com?

What is Hulu.com?  Pull up a chair and let me tell you a story...

A long time ago there was this little site called YouTube (You've probably never heard of it.) It was a great little site and the people loved it since they could watch all kinds of fun things.  However, the big bad studio monsters (also known as NBC, CBS, FOX and ABC) said: "We don't like you YouTube!  Give us money!"  Little YouTube fought the good fight, and still is today, but that wasn't good enough for a few of the Studio Monsters (aka NBC and FOX) and they decided "We could make our own YouTube where we could show full episodes of a lot of our shows and have clips of lots more shows!"  ...and thats what they did, and they called it Hulu.

Stories aside, Hulu has actually turned out to be a nice little site, proving a lot of tech pundits like myself wrong, I'm not ashamed to admit...with the notable exceptions of their "clips."  I mean who wants to watch a lame 2 minute clip of Who's The Boss?  Perfect Strangers maybe, but Who's The Boss?!  There is only so much sexual tension between Tony and Angela that one can squeeze in a 2 minute Who's the Boss clip, especially with little Johnathan comes skipping through the scene!

Anyhoo...For the most part the site is great, but wait!  You can't just go run off and gorge yourself on WKRP epidoes just yet, the site is in whats called "Private Beta" meaning you have to know a sexy, in-the-know, Web God that can get you past that virtual velvet rope....

Me.  I'm talking about me.

If you are interested in watching free (with minimal commercials) episodes from FOX, NBC, Bravo (Oh yes!  Project Runway!), and lots of others, or if you just want to check out a new site before any of your friends can, leave a comment below telling me why I should hook you up, or why I'm awesome (Your choice, but lean towards the later.) and I'll hook you up with an invite!

Make sure to fill out the email field on the comment form (Don't put it in your comment!) so I can email the invite to you.
