Every season American Idol talks about “shaking things up this year”. Well, it’s no longer just talk. In their biggest move since getting rid of Brian Dunkleman (and really, was it that big?) American Idol has added a fourth judge according to Associated Press.
The newest judge is Kara DioGuardi. This means Paula will no longer be the only female on the panel. Yet another way of looking at it is that we may finally have a sober female on the panel.
DioGuardi is a renown songwriter having written songs for Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Celine Dion, Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Santana, Ashlee Simpson, Jewel and Kylie Minogue. She’s also collaborated with artists like Dr Dre, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Polow Da Don, will.i.am, Marti Frederiksen and Chad Kroeger.
So Randy is going to have a little competition in the “name dropping” department.
Now all she needs to do is be vain and rude and she'll be a threat to all three judges.
