Women over in Europe are pretty fashion forward. I've always admired how they pull off certain outfits that I wouldn't have enough guts to wear in a million years - not because I don't think they look fashionable, I just don't think I could personally pull those styles off. When I spotted Yannika at Urban Outfitters, she struck me as someone who took fashion risks, and as soon as we started chatting, her accent gave away why that was. She's originally from Manchester, England, and when she says that, it sounds way cooler than how you're reading it in your head right now.

What she's wearing:
Cardigan: Primark
Tank: Primark
Leggings: American Apparel
Shoes: Office
Ring: Vintage from her Mom
Bracelet: A gift from her Dad from Italy
Necklace: Self-made collection of charms

Yannika on her own style - Usually I dress pretty preppy, even though I'm not today. I like things to be pretty clingy and tight. I guess I would say that I'm eclectic chic.

Favorite thing she's wearing - My shoes; I get a lot of compliments on these even though I've only recently started wearing them. They're a few sizes too big because I got them for one of my models to wear. (She got a bachelors of fashion design at the Manchester School of Arts.)

Her style icon - Probably Cassie. I really like how she's styled.

Favorite trends - I wear a lot of leggings now, and as far as upcoming trends, I really like where American Apparel is going with casual brights.

Which designers inspire her - My favorite couture designer is John Galliano. For everyday stuff, I really love DSquared2 too. What they design is really wearable.

On rockin' dark nail polish - Just black is a little bit scary. I think I can get away with it though because the glitter makes it more feminine.
