It is definately the summer season. The Memorial Day weekend was supposed to be the unofficial beginning of summer--but it didn't feel like it. The crappy weather had a lot to do with it.
But now--the kids are out of school. It's supposed to hit 90 today. And I spent both Saturday and Sunday at the pool enjoying lots of sunshine. It is definately summer.
There are great pools everywhere around St Louis. Just about every community has a pool complex and they are all great but--the pool I was at over the weekend it a little hidden treasure in West County.
Its the Cool Dell Swim and Tennis Club. A great family-friendly pool where you can bring your own food and drink. They provide BBQ pits and charcoal. It's set right in the middle of some rare open land--you can't see a house or anything but trees around the pool and tennis courts.
