Such an oaf!

Friday night (8/22) was my first time back in a bowling league in five years.  It's a men's league at Crestwood Bowl and it's going to be great fun for the next 35 weeks.  But, I'm already on the disabled list.  What?  A bowling injury??  No, I wish it was.  Actually, I tripped while jogging on Saturday.  After getting to know the fine staff at St. Mary's Hospital E.R. for a couple of hours, I learned that I strained ligaments in three fingers of my right hand.  Yes, I'm right-handed.  Why I chose that hand to break my fall, I'll never know.  But at least I saved my head... no marks on the melon.

The question, is this a sign that I should give up bowling, or jogging?  So far, the consensus is jogging.  I don't have a problem with this.  Besides, I get plent of exercise bowling.

Bowling: intermittent bursts of slow motion separated by rest periods!
