Hey St. Louis! MTV wants to talk sex with you!

"It's a total bum rush!"

That's how Abby at MTV describes hurried efforts by the network to find parents and teens with differing views on sex, and a willingness to talk them out on national TV.

St. Louis is one of seventeen cities the network is currently combing for the new show "Talk With My Folks."

Abby says the network is efforting a return to the public service business.

"Remember 'Rock the Vote' and the AIDS initiative? We're trying to get back to that."

In other words, don't look for Ashton Kutcher to come out of the wood work screaming "your punk'd!" at some Chesterfield kid's mom. The idea here is for serious, if not lively discussion.

There is some showbiz involved. The network is looking for "completely different views" on sex between the parent and the teen, and there are definite points for personality in the selection process.

The process is moving quickly because half of the first season is already shot. Abby says they hope to have casting done in the next three weeks or so.

If you or someone you know is interested, you can send an email to talkwithmyfolks@mtvstaff.com. Your other option is to pick up the phone and do it the old fashioned way. The number is 212-654-6996.

Be sure to let us know if you get picked!
