Have you ever seen that show on the Discovery Channel--Man vs Wild ? It's hosted by a kooky guy named Bear Grylls who demonstrates techniques for wilderness survival and finding a way back to civilization. It's a fun show--and about to get more fun--not funner--more fun.
Hollywood funnyman Will Ferrell will be joining Bear Grylls for an upcoming episode in early June. The show will feature Ferrell and Grylls in northern Sweden repelling down waterfalls-making snow shoes-and hunting for food in the forest.
Apparently they don't find a whole lot of food because what I'm hearing is that they eat reindeer eyeballs at one point. Despite difficult conditions-Ferrell says the experience was-quote-a thrill of a lifetime.
Beginning this summer-all new episodes of the Discovery Channel's Man vs. Wild can be seen Monday nights at 9 o'clock.
