The inaugural "Beer vs. Wine" Dinner will be held at the
Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 6-10pm.
Majestic Wine's Certified Sommelier and State Wine Educator Mike Ward will challenge Schlafly Beer Founder and brewing expert Tom Schlafly to answer the question "What goes better with food...beer or wine?"
A gourmet, five-course dinner will be prepared by Executive Chef Christian Gullet, with wine and beer strategically paired for each course.
The evening will also feature a silent auction and charitable raffle for some amazing prizes. Proceeds will benefit the Gateway Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
