You could stroll into McMurphy's Grill on 11th just off Washington and never notice anything was different. The decor is hip. The food is good. The staff is getting the job done.

But if you look more closely you might see an explanation on the menu, or, more notably, the hint of a hard life etched into the faces of many who work there. If you take the time to hear their stories, you'll find everything about McMurphy's is different. It's different because the people who are waiting on you in the front of the house, or cooking for you in the back are homeless or have been recently.
