Mother Nature has taken on Fat Tuesday, and won. This, from
STLtoday.com:
"The Light Up the Night Fat Tuesday Parade has been cancelled due to rain.
"There is no sign this rain is going to let up," said spokesman Mack
Bradley. "We couldn't have krewes open up their floats in this rain."
The Fat Tuesday Parade is the final event of the Soulard Mardi Gras
season, which included Saturday's Grand Parade and the Barkus Pet
Parade. Both of those events enjoyed sunny skies and huge crowds.
However, fewer than 15 floats committed to tonight's march."
