Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa joined the Bernie Miklasz Show Monday after his press conference announcing his return to manage the team.

Tony talked about making a decision to return to the team, and about what advice he will give new hitting coach Mark McGwire on discussing his past, and that he should do it sooner the better.

    I am excited about having TLR back. But a"m more about Big Mac. Everybody is a little to hard on him.For one thing it was 10 years ago and he has paid by keeping him out of the HOF.Some people think you take a steriod and get big and strong. Thats not true you half to work hard in the weight room.With just steriods you would get fat.He will make a great hitting coach.
