From sniffins.com:

FACT: Most greeting cards are sent from one human to another.
FACT: It’s easy to pretend your pet wants to send somebody a greeting card, but everyone knows that even the smartest pets have terrible handwriting.

What if we could really have information transferred from pets to pets, or from people to pets? What if we could send “messages” that a pet could “read?” Well, what language do many of our pets understand? SCENT!

How does it work?

Sniffins Greetings cards have a feature you can't find anywhere else: A detachable, fuzzy pawprint you can "load" with any scent you like. The scent collected in the pawprint may not be detectable to people, but our furry friends' incredible noses are much more sensitive. When your pet's friend receives the card, they will "read" it by sniffing the pawprint!

How does it work? Carefully remove the pawprint from the card. Rub it on your pet’s head, neck, and ears, in order to collect their unique scent. Replace the pawprint in the card, and there you have it! A card that dogs, cats, and many other pets can “read!” Think about it: Now your pet can literally mail their own unique scent as a greeting to their beloved playmates, littermates, parents, or offspring. One pet could even introduce themselves to another by mail, before they meet in person. What a concept!

You can write a message next to the pawprint for the recipient. When the card is received, a human will have to interpret the writing, but the scent speaks for itself!

Of course, you can add any scent you like to the pawprint, because you're the one with the thumbs. For example, maybe you know a pet who would like to hear the sound of your voice, or... sniff a trace of your scent! Rub the pawprint on your throat and behind your ears, and mail them a greeting they can understand.

Pretty weird, huh? I can see where this might be good if your pets got separated from each other for a period of time. If they're good friends, they might miss each other and it would be good to get an update! What do you think? Would you buy one? Would you send one? What would you do if your pet got a Sniffins Greeting Card?
