My new friend, Glacier, has arrived! Roommate #2 brought him home on Monday, and holy cow does he have a lot of stuff! Toys, treats, and accessories galore! He must be one high-maintenance kitty. He even has a cat tree for crying out loud! I have to admit, I do love the sissal the cat tree is wrapped in... Feels great on my paws.
I haven't really had a chance to get to know him yet... He's too busy hiding in his room. First it was under the futon, then behind the TV, now he's in Roommate's closet. At least he's moving around, I guess! He'll be OK once he figures out that Roommates are good humans who won't hurt him. I stayed in hiding for 3 days when I moved in with Roommate #1- I wouldn't eat, sleep, drink, or use the cat box! Looking back I can see how silly I was... Glacier will realize the same thing real soon.
For now, we're all just giving him space and time to settle in. I tried telling him that everything was OK, but there's no talking to a cat who's determined to stay out of sight.
In the meantime, here's a somewhat crummy photo of Glacier hiding in the closet:

I'm pretty sure I'm the more handsome of us two. What do you think?
