Welcome to ToastedRav.com - Home of deep fried St. Louis entertainment.

It's true. We have a love affair with St. Louis. It's our home. It's our past, present and future. Our friends and family are from here, live here, work here and have moved to and from here. And, like all good relationships, we have our share of occasional moments of disdain, our lover quarrels, and spats. Sometimes we'll even slam doors and roll our eyes...(We're looking at you MODOT/Highway 40). Other days, we plant flowers, recycle and try to do everything we can to make our home a happy one. We love St. Louis so much that we wanted to do something special for it...we want to tell its story.

Too cheesy for you? Well, instead of poking fun, why don't you help us? After all, it's a St. Louis thing, and if you're reading this, there's a good chance that you're connected to St. Louis in some way, too.

Let's get to the meat of it...(sorry, the puns are too easy sometimes) - ToastedRav.com is a website about, for and by St. Louisans. Our goal is to entertain you with engaging video, stories and opinions about St. Louis people, places, events and history while providing you with a forum to contribute your own opinion, views and information. You can post your comment on almost every ToastedRav story, and eventually we'll invite you to build your own member page where you can microblog on any topic and even submit your own videos. The only thing we ask in return is that you share this website with your friends, family, co-workers and when you do post to our website, that you keep the content family-friendly.

Speaking of content, what you garner from this site will vary depending upon your interests. Our topics will span broad categories...everything from where to eat dinner and take the family this weekend to the hottest celebrity gossip and the latest fashion finds in town. We'll try to take a light or humorous approach more often than not, and sometimes our stories will be a satirical take on reality. Other times, we'll just introduce you to the strange and sublime around town...someone with an unusual job, a freakishly large pet canary or the guy that you always see walking down the street wearing Bermuda shorts and sandals in January...

Think of us as your neighbor who always has the good gossip...or maybe the office clown...or maybe just the crazy guy that talks to himself at the gym... In any case, we promise to be entertaining.
