The top 6 perform tonight on American Idol!  Tonight’s theme is music from Andrew Llyod Weber.  It’s the first time in the show’s 7 year history that American Idol has had the contestants perform show tunes.  Maybe the producers thought it would be a good idea to have this theme since past contestants (Fantasia, Clay Aiken, Diana DeGarmo, etc) are now lighting up Broadway!  I honestly don’t know how I feel about this theme.  I think some of the contestants will struggle with their song choice.  Personally, I have a feeling tonight may be boring, but I’ll still watch!
