Thanks for the commentrs, and the compliments! I think they'r epretty cute too. An update: Tracy was at the Mills Thursday with Abby. Abby wanted to see Santa so bad she was willing to stand in line for 1/2 hour! And not only did she give him a list this time, she also asked him to bring toys for Ally without any prompting. At TWO!

Corporate business and public schools are where the PC police plant their butts. None of this was ever a problem until lawyers and the ACLU started seeing dollar signs from anyone who wanted to gripe loud enough. It sent a chill through the Department stores and School Districts throughout the land. So to avoid a lawsuit, or even worse..BAD PUBLICITY, many companies and School boards have just opted to quietly shift to a more neutral position. Do they all really believe in the elemination of the phrase "Christmas"? I sincerely doubt it.

In a nation that promotes tolerance of race, religion, gender, etc., it amazes me that there is no tolerance for the use of a simple holiday greeting.

Shell, we tried to stick around for the parade but ended up taking off. We did see it last year, though. It was very cool!

We must have JUSt missed you at Pumpkin & Pines. Actually, we didn't stay long when we found out they only take cash or check! You know us, we NEVER have cash! So we backtracked to our "old stand-by", Country Pines in Wright City. http://www.country-pinesllc.com. We discovered a birds nest in our tree when we got it home, that's a year of luck and prosperity! So even though our whole trip took us 5 hours, I'm hoping the birds nest makes up for the wasted trip to Warrenton!

Thanks for the suggestions! We also decided that we'd check out Pumpkins and Pines since you all raved about it. We did not have a very good experience. We checked out their website, got directions and drove out there. It took an hour to get there, only to find out they only take cash or check! It was half our fault for assuming, but they also say nothing about that on their website. Doesn't EVERYONE take VISA nowadays?

Needless to say, we went to our past tree farm...Country Pines in Wright CIty...http://www.country-pinesllc.com. Just $5 a foot, and we got ourselves a great one!
