AMEN Melody.. This 1/2 is totally effecting my life.
I live in SW City but work in Maryland Heights, my step son lives in St Charles and my in-laws are in Chesterfield.
We have a Christmas pagent in St Charles on Saturday..I hate not knowing how I'm going to get there or how long it will take. Getting to work is entire other pain in the neck.
Yesterday I took Dorsett to 270 N to 70 E to 170 N to 40 E to Oakland..and it took over an hour. They had the left lane closed on the interbelt.
Do I take Bellvue to Dale to Big Bend to Delmar to 170 to Olive to Lindberg to Midland/Doresett.. I don't know. 44 to 270 is NOT an option, I'm fearful for my life w/ the idiot 270 drivers.
The hole thing just sucks.. At least I have a job to drive to.

Food is good..except for the corn on the cob, tried it twice..meh.. The meat though is awesome..even without the sauce. Parking is great...but they run out of food. Don't go an hour before they close and expect to have a choice.

No lie: This morning I told my husband that I hadn't slept that well in ages..I got an awesome sleep last night, it just so happens that I loaded up on a buch of different cheese and hummus last night since we needed something to snack on before dinner was ready.. awesome Dutch cheese, mild cheddar and a french cheese.. I think I'll have more tonight!

That is excatly what we are talking about doing tomorrow night.. I do it all the time..Fried Chicken From Pat's on Tamm and Oakland is one of my favorites..now I'm seeing signs ...call and pick up on your way home. Resturant business is DOWN.. Carryout you keep them busy..and are comfy!

It is all about the Roast Beef...Lion's Choice has beef..real beef which you can order well done if you prefer..cause it's real cow meat. Arby's..it's like that chipped beef you get in a plastic bag in the grocery store..processed slimy stuff...EWWW.
Lion's choice also has nice sides..the au jus, fries, baked potato..ice cream, turkey..
If I want a deli sandwhich I can go to Bread CO.
