Toby Keith

I am a big Toby Keith fan and i was so upset at Friday nights concert. You could tell that Toby was drunk. I could not belive he said the F word with all of the kids that were there. He is a great performer and should know better. I have been to all of Toby's concerts here in St. Louis and this was the first one that i wanted my money back.

  • Toby's show has never been kid friendly. I took my kids last year and regretted it. That part did not surprise me at all. However, I was surprised at the way he lost his place in the show during Big Dog Daddy and how he appeared to even forget lyrics a few times. I wondered from the start if he was ill because of the way his voice was cracking/fading. Did you notice the way he checked his cell phone the one time? Very bizaar! Thank God for Trace or I would have been very disappointed, but Trace made it worth it.
  • No one has mentioned how Toby was presented a shirt from the base by a member of the military and how he sang American Soldier...changing the lyric to "American Warrior" and included all branches of the military.

I had so much fun at the show! Toby gives his all! I guess people will see what they want to see and if one chooses to speculate that a professional of Toby's caliber were drunk and inappropriate, then I suggest that you save your money and go to a Brad Paisley show...
  • I just Love Toby Keith!!! But that said, perception is everything! I thought Trace's performance was a little "staged" and "choreographed" and "flat"...but there are people I've talked to and several on here who thought Trace's portion of the show was the best part.

For me, I prefer Toby's style of performing and playing with the audience, knowing that for that hour and a half, he owns his audience and takes them on a wild "American Ride" through the bar rooms, heartbreaks and relationships to a big ol' party where everyone is free to be themselves!
