Reception Ideas

I am starting to think about the reception and what can I do for a really cheap price to make it different from any other reception I've been too.  I wanted to do some tall vases in the middle with beads or pebbles with water inside, but i'm not sure how I could get it to reflect off the glass to light up.  Any ideas would be helpful.

I've already started looking for the bridesmaid dresses and I think I have them narrowed down to two.  My mom and I had went gown shopping and I found 2 that I really liked but didn't really want to pay that price for just one day.  I know your suppose to feel like a princess that day.  I thought this would be a easy and simple to plan but I'm still waiting to hear from the preacher for the ceremony cite.

maybe you could get those flameless candles and get a vase with a bottom that has an opening and put them underneath the vase. then you you put flowers, beads or feathers around so you couldn't actually see the candle inside. You might even think of using something upside down just for this purpose too. It might work easier!

im not sure where you went to look at bridesmaid dresses at but when i got married-i found mine at JCPenney. Yep-they were prom dresses but only $80! Maybe you should bring your girls with you so they can decide on the dress since they are the ones wearing them. as for your wedding dress-i dont blame you for not wanting to spend alot of money for one day. try bridal insperations on watson i got mine for $600

I appreciate anything and everything. My friend had also went to JCPenney and they were prom dresses which they turned out really cute because it was on a beach. I think that even though they may be prom dresses they are almost like bridal dresses. We spent $40 on our dresses and I was 8 mths pregnant.. So that was a sight to see. haha

What do you think?
