Jimmy Ballgame...of the Creve Coeur Ballgames

Young, single hearts are breaking across St. Louis. I don't know if one of these young ladies pictured is the lucky lady, but according to the Post-Dispatch, Jim Edmonds got married this afternoon.

The nuptials for Jimmy Ballgame reportedly took place at the courthouse in Clayton where a nice judge did the honors. The story goes on:

"Edmonds, 38, and (Allison Jayne) Raski, 28, tied the knot in the chambers of Judge Michael T. Jamison who wished the newlyweds good luck after performing the brief ceremony. Both were casually dressed. Edmonds wore a T-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Raski, one observer noted, sported a nice-sized diamond ring."

Actually, the pair has been together quite a while.  Articles back in 2006 reference the pair and the son they have together.  (This means my wife's hope of Jimmy riding in and sweeping her off her feet have been unfounded for some time.)

The happy couple is said to have headed for Jimmy's restaurant, F15teen, on Locust Street. Hopefully they've kicked up the mashed potatoes and turned down the adjacent night club since ToastedRav.com's last visit.

Congrats, Jimmy! We hope you'll return to being a St. Louisan after getting North Side Chicago treachery out of your system!
