Dilemma for Ozzie Smith: Son's music or Card's rival on the 4th of July?

For "The Wizard of Oz" the 4th of July could lead to touch choices: music or baseball? Family or friends? Nikko or Fredbird?

You see, despite all the changes the Fair of St. Louis is making due to the raging Mississippi, no one is moving the annual Rockin' the Landing festivities that Friday.

The landing will have several stages, and on one of them the featured performer will be Ozzie's son and ToastedRav.com's old friend Nikko Smith.

Ozzie is a regular at Nikko's performances, but on the same evening, something else close to his heart will be taking place: a Cardinals match up with the hated Chicago Cubs.

Nikko takes the stage at 5, right about the time the Cards will be in batting practice for their 7:15 start. I've posed the question to one of Ozzie's "people" to find out what he'll do if there's an overlap. (I suspect Nikko wins and he'll be late!)
