The upcoming 2009 CMT Music Awards have a host.  Country comedian Bill Engvall has been tapped to oversee next month's ceremony.  He says he's honored to get the call to host the event, noting, quote, "Live television is always unpredictable and exhilarating, and I'm looking forward to sharing the stage with some of country music's biggest stars."  Sugarland leads the list of nominees with five bids, while Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts are some of the other multiple nominees.  They're also among the confirmed performers for the show, along with Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, and Trace Adkins.  Balloting is now under way for the fan-voted event, and will be open through June 14th.  The 2009 CMT Music Awards will be presented at an event in Nashville, and air on CMT June 16th.
