Manny Ramirez is currently serving a 50-game suspension for cheating the game.  The Dodger slugger used a banned substance.  See you in early July Manny.

Not so fast.  Manny is making news while away from baseball, because some fans are actually voting him onto the National League All-Star team.  That's right, Ramirez is currently 4th in balloting.  If he finishes in the top-3 he'll start for the NL in St. Louis July 14th at Busch Stadium.

You have got to be kidding?  Come on baseball fans!  I realize Bud Selig blew this one.  The 50-game suspension should include a ban from All-Star games.  But it doesn't.  So do NOT make a joke of the sport we love.  Don't compound the mistake by putting Manny Ramirez on the NL All-Star team.

If you can't get it right, perhaps the next move is to ban you from selecting the starters.
