You don't have to be a kid to enjoy Demolition Ball at Adrenaline Zone in St. Charles, but you do have to be at least 12 years old. Why? Because this indoor combination of bumper cars, hockey, polo, football and basketball can get pretty darn intense, and the ToastedRav crew has the bruises to prove it.

If you find it hard to believe that a place called "Adrenaline Zone" is so fitting for adults, take Celine Dion's entourage's word for it. Their bus stopped by for a 30-person game of laser tag the last time they were passing through. It's even a popular spot for corporate meetings and retreats. Considering most of us didn't even know this place existed a couple weeks ago, I have to say, it's one of the most fun things I've done in a long time.

When (not if) I go back, I will be taking advantage of their awesome lunchtime special. Every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can get lunch and either a game of laster tag or demolition ball for a mere $10. And we're not talking microwaved hot dogs here - last week's menu included a BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger, Baked Cheese Manicotti, Blackened Yellowfin Tuna and Meatball Parmesan Ciabatta. If I have time, I might have to try The Heist, Adrenaline Zone's new state-of-the-art timed laser maze.

It's pretty hard to explain what exactly Demolition Ball is, so check out the Featured Video tab to see how we handled the intense action and the "rules." And in case you were wondering, Jen, Flynn and I (aka team Mustard) won both games we played - not to rub it in or anything.
