You gotta know Abby Cadabby and all the other chicks on Sesame Street have got to be estatic. John Mayer is headed to the award winning kids PBS show. Mayer and Queen Latifah will be featured in a primetime special of Sesame Street called 'Coming Home: Military Families Cope With Change'. It will share stories of military personnel returning home to their families with visible and invisible injuries. David Letterman's production company-Worldwide Pants-is producing the show in association with Sesame Workshop. The 30-minute special will air April 1st on PBS.
Hannah Montana is hot--as in wildly popular. That means it's become a huge money maker. The Disney Channel TV show. The concerts. The CDs. A new Hannah Montana movie is coming. There is a lot of money--serious money built into this franchise-so you gotta know the lawyers and lawsuits can't be far behind. As a matter of fact-a writer in L-A has filed a lawsuit-claiming he wrote a script that is the exact same premise of Hannah Montana. He's suing for damages and credit on all future publications and broadcasts of Hannah Montana.
While we're talking about wildly popular performers--you gotta know we have to include Kelly Clarkson. American Idol's first winner has made the largest leap to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since its inception 50 years ago. My Life Would Suck Without You shot from number 97 to the number 1 spot in just one week. My Life Would Suck Without You is the first single from Clarkson's upcoming album All I Ever Wanted. It's slated to hits stores March 17th.
