Honest survey: how many times have you said "I can't put my arms down," when you are all bundled up for winter weather? I probably quote that line at least once a year. That is one of the many lines that actor Ian Petrella made famous in the holiday classic, A Christmas Story. We talked up Petrella, who played the quintessential kid brother Randy, about his favorite scenes and memories from the movie as well as his favorite Christmas movies. To hear our chat with him go to the Video tab.

Petrella, who now works as an illustrator and graphic designer, recalled a deleted scene from the movie that involved an elaborate dream sequence where Ralphie saves Flash Gordon and the planet earth from the clutches of Ming. The scene was cut from the film and the footage is nowhere to be found but you can read the script at the A Christmas Story House website, and if you have the special edition of the DVD the script is located in an "Easter Egg" that you can find by pressing the down arrow when the "Theatrical Trailer" selection is highlighted. A Christmas present will pop up and you can click on that to access it.
So, what's your favorite Christmas movie? A Christmas Story wasn't on the short list that Ian's gave us (it probably would have been kind of cheesy for him to say it), but does it make yours?
