I've gotten many of my friends and family hooked on ToastedRav in the past couple of months, and as the number of visitors to ToastedRav.com keeps growing, it occured to me that there could be some pretty important people in St. Louis who are learning to love the site as well. A few quick phone calls proved I was right.
Funnyman Robin Williams (or at least the female version from St. Charles) hadn't seen our entertaining site yet, but looks forward to looking it up. "It sounds like an interesting site. I'll have to check it out," Williams said.

Unfortunately, Paris Hilton (of St. Louis) was unavailable for comment.
Even I was surprised when I reached Michael Jackson (of St. Louis), but he soon revealed why he picked up the phone: "I'm getting ready to walk out the door," Jackson said. "What site is this? I only picked up because I thought this was the doctor's office calling back." So Michael hasn't exactly seen ToastedRav yet, but he seems to be pretty busy with "doctors" at the moment, so I'll cut him a break.
Diane Keaton (of St. Louis) proved to be too busy to chat with me, as proved by the drawn-out dial tone in my ear. But, had the leading lady been a little less busy, I'm sure she would have told you how great ToastedRav is, and how much she enjoys reading our columnists' material.
Everyone's favorite natural beauty, Pamela Anderson (also of St. Louis), was happy to comment on the home of deep fried St. Louis entertainment after a little prodding from yours truly. "Me? Shoot. I'm not a good person for stuff like this. Shoot. Of course, I'd love to check out the site to see what it's about."
I was thiiis close to speaking with comedy-action star Will Smith (of Ballwin), who I'm sure would have given ToastedRav a rave review, but his wife said he probably wouldn't be interested in speaking with me. Ouch.
Well, there you have it ToastedRav-ers. If celebs like Pamela Anderson, Michael Jackson and Robin Williams are excited to check out the site, we're really going places. Feel free to name drop all these celebs when encouraging your friends to check out the site. That is all.
- It rocks!
- Its just stupid.
- Its SPAM.
- Its offensive.
- Nevermind.
