Purrfect Tips From Dr. Freesh!


Don't lose your cat! My veterinarian, Dr. Freesh at St. Louis Cat Clinic, likes to send me tips and advice for my fellow felines and their roommates. This month's topic is Microchip Identification.

Our much loved animal companions can escape and be lost to us as well as wander away. Please keep collars on cats at all times. Have a veterinarian implant a microchip in your cat and put the microchip tag on your cat's collar. Register your cat in the microchip database. Dr. Freesh's oldest son recovered his cat, Ruthie, who escaped from his apartment 3 months later thanks to a microchip.
