EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (The Associated Press) - By DAVE CAMPBELL

Brett Favre is downplaying any anxiety about returning to Lambeau Field, though he expects to hear both boos and cheers.

Favre insisted Wednesday he hasn't thought much about emotions he might feel when Minnesota travels to Green Bay, except when others bring up the subject. After 16 seasons as a Packers star and icon, Favre will play there for the first time as a visitor. The Vikings can open a commanding lead in the NFC North with a win.

Favre says he doesn't believe he'll be as nervous as he was in the hours leading up to Minnesota's first game against Green Bay three weeks ago.

Regarding potential disrespect from betrayed Packers fans, Favre says he recognizes their devotion to the team but expects the "true fans" to maintain their appreciation.
