Wedding etiquette

1. I'm confused about the father of the groom.  Is he supposed to wear a tux?

2.  Where are about to hire our DJ!  Any idea of what kind of questions to ask him?

As far as the DJ goes, make sure he will play YOUR music, not a mish mash of things HE likes. My sister's reception was less than exciting due to the old folky music that was played the whole time, much to my sister's chagrin.

Also, make sure he won't do anything embarassing or talk over the music the whole time. Recently at my friend Jessica's wedding, the DJ insisted on talking over and karaoke-ing every. single. song. He was also content to have his first 3-4 buttons undone on his shirt, thus exposing an extremely hairy, yet pasty white chest. Eww!

Make sure your DJ knows what's expected of him as far as appearance, behavior and the music that will be played.
