Jamie Lynn Spears Has Baby

The Story

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl this morning. The whole Spears family was there--Britney, her parents and brother Bryan. Jamie Lynn and fiance Casey Aldridge named the baby Maddie Briann. She weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces. Mom and baby are said to be doing well.

*sigh* my comment was bothering me... so I guess that was mean of me to say... it's just that I find that families choices to be sad. Here's hoping this little baby girl grows up to be a positive example for the Spears family.

I wonder if she is old enough to know that "Maddie" is really short for Madeline, Madelyn, etc and so forth. (and I'm +-ing you both back to 0)
