Anyone who's tried his or her hand at video editing knows it's tempting to make use of a software package's selection of fancy transitions. Be warned though, there's no better way to stand out as an editing newbie. Though it seems fun to make video "A" roll up into a ball and bounce away to reveal video "B," it's a distracting way to cut clips and you're at risk of giving the audience a seizure. We've all been there at one time or another, so learn from the mistakes of those before you. Watch the video for more. You're welcome.
