'Twas an eventful week behind the scenes of American Idol, as a stage manager took a massive spill from the stop of a staircase and ended up in the hospital. As for the show, Allison went home, and Slash brought a much-needed bit of cool to the program.

Toast friend Joel McHale nabbed himself a starring role in the new NBC show Community. The infamous gossiper now has a posh network gig but says he'll play double duty by keeping his job hosting The Soup.

Beyonce offered a crowd in Rotterdam a real treat by firing a crew member during a live concert. When a tech missed a lighting cue, the songstress made it known that "somebody's getting fired" in front of an audience of thousands. Let's be honest; she did the dude a favor.

Kiefer Sutherland put his cranium to good use this week defending Brooke Shields' honor. According to reports, the 24 actor headbutted Jack McCollough after the clothing designer knocked Brooke to the ground and didn't apologize, but now Kiefer's in trouble.

Kim Kardashian now has a nemesis in the form of radio guru Howard Stern. The King of all Media caught an episode of
Keeping Up with the Kardashians and laid into Kim and family afterwards, saying essentially she's a giant-bummed waste of space.
