It's been awhile since I thought about Robin Williams. He was great at lookin' like a lady in Mrs. Doubtfire, and everyone remembers him in both Good Will Hunting and Night at the Museum (I'm sure he'd like us to forget about RV), but what has the funnyman been up to lately?
Well, he's touring the country on his "Weapons of Self-Destruction Tour," which was supposed to stop in at the FOX Theater tonight. Yes, that's right, I said "supposed to;" if you had tickets to see the comic's sold-out show this evening, you'll have to postpone your plans. Mr. Williams recently underwent surgery for an aortic valve replacement, and from what we hear, that makes an active one-man show pretty much against doctors' orders.
The good news is that he plans on resuming his tour in the fall - or whenever his heart has healed. Robin says he "can't wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up," and I bet he works this little pit-stop into his act.
