How smart is Gene Simmons?

We'll find out tonight when the Kiss legend is a contender on the game show "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?"  Gene is playing to raise money for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatrics AIDS Foundation.  The show airs a 7p St. Louis time on Fox.

I don't think Gene attained a significant level of higher education, but, one thing he's got going for him - he never drinks or uses illegal drugs.  I'm assuming he'll appear sans makeup - what do you think?
