If you haven't heard of Parkour, you had better listen up, because even cool peeps like my mom have heard of it. But just in case you're clueless; parkour is moving from one point to another in an efficient way, while at the same time, using the body's physical abilities and anything you can find in the surrounding environment. If you can do all that, then you just might make it as a traceur - or in the case of ToastedRav's new friend Elly, a traceuse.

The ToastedRav crew decided that not only did we want to find someone in St. Louis who did parkour, but we wanted to learn a few moves while we were at it. That's where Elly came in. We found her on YouTube and were impressed with her moves. She's only been doing parkour for a few years, but she practices weekly with her parkour and freerunning group, TRICKset. This past summer, many members of the 12 person group worked as actors, actresses and part of the stunt crew for an independent full length feature film called The Disk: Code Zero, which is due out December 28th.

We didn't exactly know what we were in for - all we knew is that we were going to learn ninja/freerunning/parkour/acrobat/crazy moves, and we were going to do it in a parking lot in Clayton. Some of us had an easier time with the leaps and vaults than others, but we all had a good time.
