I have a penchant for pizza, a love of books, and a strong cup of coffee always makes me smile. When I'm not writing for ToastedRav I like long walks on concrete sidewalks, hanging-lamp lit dinners, and a good bottle of Shiraz.

Fashion isn't always about what materials and colors are hot right now. Helena Cho and Tammy Hotsenpiller, the designers and creators behind Humanity, believe that clothing can have a mission and a message.

Cho and Hotsenpiller started Humanity with the belief and determination that by building a community and through their pieces they could make a difference. Their lines of graphic tees, belts, and hooded sweatshirts speak to and about the many different social issues that impact society on a global level. During St. Louis Fashion Week they came into town to show pieces from their collection, and we had the chance to sit down with them to discuss their mission and company.

Check out the Featured Video tab to hear about Humanity, see interviews with Fashion Week organizer Elizabeth Parker, and catch more of the action from St. Louis Fashion Week's runway.
