Ever since I started playing around with various social networking sites, I've found myself asking the question, "how much is too much?"  I'm on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and Linkedin.  I like to play with Digg, Mixx,  and various Google applications. I'm probably leaving something out, as well.

My big problem is I can't keep up with all of it!  I have a job, a wife, and a son after all.  I can't spend my whole day surfing the web!

Well, it turns out I'm not alone in asking this question.  One of the most complete columns I've seen on the subject yet is here.  The tech columnist for MSNBC clearly spent a lot of time researching the subject.

She leaves Twitter off the must join list (a point on which I disagree), but there's a nice breakdown of all the choices and their value.

Enjoy your reading!  I have to run.  I've got two dozen social networking accounts to update!
