Where You Can Catch Some Fireworks For The 4th!

If you're like me, then you're always up for a good fireworks display on the 4th of July, especially after polishing off those hot dogs, burgers and pies. Here's a list of some places showing fireworks in and around St. Louis. If you have any to add, please feel free to do so!

Due to flooding it’s been moved to Soldiers Memorial bounded by Tucker and Market Street, Olive and 15th downtown. It is STILL A GO for fireworks on the 4th!

The Heritage & Freedom Fest will be held Thursday and Friday at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex, 900 Ozzie Smith Drive. Admission is free. Thursday hours are 6 to 11 p.m., with entertainment by Jeff Allen and Emerson Drive, a carnival, children's activities, crafters, food and fireworks at 10:15 p.m. For info: heritageandfreedomfest.com.

The Family Fun Festival will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade and end at 9:15 p.m. with fireworks. Live music and a petting zoo, face painting, pony rides, crafts, puppets, a juggler and a magician. Call 314-524-5074 or: fergusoncity.com.

The American Legion July 4th Celebration is to be held from 11 a.m. to dusk Friday at 375 East Locust Street with food and fireworks. Call 618-281-7144.

he annual Old-Fashioned Celebration will begin at noon on Friday at Scheve Park, featuring sports, music, games, pony rides, raffles and food. It will end with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Call 618-566-2964 or go to Mascoutah.com
