The Great Danes (7-4, 6-2 Northeast Conference) led 21-14 late in the second quarter before Esposito's touchdown run of 8 yards and another from a yard out to pull away.
Andrew Smith gave Albany a 14-0 lead on an 8-yard run with 3:50 left in the first quarter, and a 9-yard catch from Esposito with 2:06 left in the period.
Esposito finished with 248 yards on 14-of-21 passing, and Smith had 98 yards on 15 carries.
Justin Gannon had 86 yards on 19 carries for Albany.
The Great Danes were 6-for-6 in red zone chances as they prevented Wagner from winning a share of the NEC title.
The Seahawks (6-5, 5-3) were led by Dominique Williams with 101 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. Nick Doscher had 156 yards and a touchdown on 12-of-26 passing.
