Roommates have decided to take in another cat. One of Soldier Roommate's co-workers is being deployed to Iraq and can no longer take care of the cat. Roommates discussed it and decided it might not be a bad idea to bring another kitty into the house- especially if that means saving him from a shelter!
Here's a little info about him: He's a 3 year old neutered siamese cat named Glacier. Roommates tell me he's very nice and affectionate like me. He's also an indoor-only cat, so we'll have lots of time to get to know each other. I'm not sure when he'll arrive, but I'm pretty excited. I hope we get along! It will be nice to have someone my size around here... I'll keep you updated.
In the meantime, check out this article from the ASPCA about introducing a new cat into your household.
