Simon told Jason Castro to start packing his bags after his second song on Tuesday night's Idol.  I think he may be right.  Each contestant chose two songs from the Rock-n-Roll of Fame.

Jason just wasn't good.  He did a Bob Marley song that wasn't very good.  Then he chose a Bob Dylan song and forgot the words...a big no-no.

David Cook, I thought, was as good as ever.  I wasn't crazy about his first pick, Duran Duran but did love his rendition of Baba O'Riley by The Who.

Sayesha--eh--not crazy about her but she did ok.  I wasn't pleased she did Proud Mary. No one does Tina and gets away with it.  I did, however, like her rendition of Sam Cooke's A Change Is Gonna Come. (one of my favorite songs)

David Archuleta..finally!  I thought he was going to take it when he did John Lennon's Imagine but then he fell flat for me.  This week, I thought he was awesome.  He did Stand by Me and Love Me Tender. I thought the first one was better but he still did great. (Simon told David, "David, you didn't beat the competition, you crushed the competition.

I'm with Simon--Jason, bye-bye.
