Do you have a problem with BUI?  That is Buying Under The Influence. According to the Chicago Tribune, it is one of the internet's "dirty little secrets"!  What is BUIing?  Basically it's when you drink a little too much and go on a shopping spree on the internet.  Something that apparently affects more women than men.

Now, I will admit to buying from the shopping channel (and it's touched on in the article which I've attached the link below).  One time I was in Palm Springs working and staying at a hotel by myself.  I couldn't sleep and found myself on the phone with QVC at 2AM buying a Wok I just could NOT resist!  Especially when the nice announcer man said..."But Wait, There's More!"  I will say for the low price of just $19.99 plus shipping and handling, I returned from my work vacation to find a new Wok with all the accessories awaiting me!  And...I loved it!  Still use it today! I was, however, not wasted when I made the decision to buy.  Heck, if I had been a bit tipsy, I might've bought one for each of my family members. (Good thing I was sober!)

The interesting part of this article is that most of the women who bought from the internet while wasted did not regret their purchases.   Hmm...maybe it's better to shop then other things one might have done while buzzed and might regret even more!
