Billboard.com is reporting that the top nine spots on this weeks Billboard Top Pop Albums chart are occupied by Michael Jackson-related releases. Sitting at #1 is Jackson's "Number Ones" with 108-thousand units sold. At #2 is "The Essential Michael Jackson" with 102-thousand copies, while "Thriller" checks in at #3 with 101-thousand albums sold. Michael's "Off The Wall" is this week's #4 after selling 33-thousand copies and the Jackson Five's "Ultimate Collection" rounds out the top five with 18-thousand units sold. In total, Jackson sold 415-thousand albums in the week ending June 28, which is 40 percent more than his catalog sold the entire rest of the year.
By the way, the only entry in the top ten (#10) is "Woodstock" by various artists.
