The oh-so-opinionated Gene Simmons says he thinks American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has made a big mistake by going public with his sexual orientation. The KISS bassist, who performed with Lambert on the Idol finale show, tells AOL's Inside TV he thinks Adam is "enormously talented" but, quote, "I think he killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference. He's done." Simmons says that in speaking openly about his sexuality he's risked alienating a good portion of his fan base. Here's another quote, "The masses don't all live in L.A. They live in Wisconsin and Nebraska, and you're on crack if you think the same rules apply there."
- It rocks!
- Its just stupid.
- Its SPAM.
- Its offensive.
- Nevermind.
rogerqbert Staff 129 Days agoThe real irony is that everyone was talking about Adam Lambert's sexuality before he made it official. Now, it's hardly mentioned.
