Want to have a reality T.V. show experience without being forced to eat worms, jump off a cliff, date an aging (ex)rock star or, most importantly, without having to take a few months off of work?

Well, obviously if you spend anytime watching prime-time T.V., then you are dying to make your reality competition debut; Hannah Games is here just to help you out with that.

"The reality of competing in 'adventure reality shows' is unlikely," Hannah Games organizer Mark Calandro said. "Most of us aren't able to take three months off from work to eat bugs on a remote island in the pacific. Even if we could, the possibility of being selected is slim to none."

From this idea, Calandro realized that there really weren't any choices on a local level to join in on the craze and popularity of shows such as Survivor and The Amazing Race. So Calandro organized Hannah Games in St. Louis to provide adults with games that challenge their minds, bodies and spirits, while also allowing them to have a great time with their friends.

On Saturday June 6, Hannah Games hosted a new competition called Radius 33.

In this competition players raced to solve 33 riddles and collect 33 keys hidden within a 33-mile radius of St. Louis. Teams collecting the most keys and the team to find the cash box were the ones to receive cash prizes.

In the end, 32 of the 33 keys were collected by the 14 participating teams who solved and navigated the riddles. Team Callier & Team Arnett both won $250 in cash, each arriving to the cash location with 5 keys. Team Stegeman won $500 cash for finding the cash lock box key.

"It's a totally unique experience that you can share with a group of friends. We've gotten great feedback from our participants and have many players return game after game," Calandro said. "It's about so much more than just winning the money. It's a challenge, but it's also a great social environment. After most of our games we invite the players to hang out, meet new people and talk about the hunt. Our players talk, laugh, bitch and moan for hours after a hunt. It's actually just a whole lot of fun."

Hanna Games is looking to spread this fun too, for any University of Missouri fans, look for a "Tiger Booty" competition hosted by Hannah Games on the campus next fall.

On July 10 Hannah Games will host the St. Louis Big Balls Charity Hunt to benefit Sherwood Forest Camp for kids so make sure to check it out if you are ready to get a taste of being part of a adventure styled reality competition.
